Ok ! This is honestly my first real attempt at making a good space scape and I want to do it right.
I'm open to any comment under the sun to help make this
better bottom line is I need help!!!
Working on the nebula wasn't that hard but the detail to bring it out is kinda getting me. I don't know if the planets right should I add more then one planet LOL
ANYTHING
I just need some advice on how to go about this and it would be greatly appreciated
Looks nice as is. I like how you've got this very warm-hued nebula, and these cool-hued planets going on here. Definitely a good start--and better than I could pull off, lol.
You could always use a touch of real subtle textured brush in the clouds, and then paint over in real close-up zoom with a fuzzy brush to soften those up a bit. I've used the textured brush in very large sizes and large scales, and then gone back to tweak with the fuzzy brush to keep things from being too harsh or repetitive. I found this worked for a nebula piece I didn't post as it was intended for fans of a single race in the Homeworld-games universe.
However, if you want to go really painterly on nebulae, look up ~sumopiggy. This guy is awesome. Looking real close at his nebulae might give you some tips. Even just poking around the spacescapes most popular list might get you some people to note and ask for starting tips on how to detail nebular clouds.

Years are like fractals. The more you've seen of them, the more you appreciate the details of each one, rather than how many you've seen.
